Hill’s Vet Essentials Brand World
Role: Lead Designer, Writer (design sections of guidelines)
Hill’s is a global leader in pet nutrition, with offerings tailored to a range of pet needs, including Vet Essentials, a vet-exclusive line of multi-benefit nutrition for “actively well” pets. Building on equities established in the recently redesigned Vet Essentials packaging, our team was tasked with creating a distinct brand world to support the brand’s reintroduction across European, Asian, and Middle Eastern markets.
Our new brand system amplifies the modern science and bold color language of Hill’s Vet Essentials packaging and complements it with authentic, sourced photography that captures candid, real-world moments between pets and their owners.
The engagement culminated in a 78-page brand guidelines document that showcased the system across omni-channel applications and outlined usage standards for Hill’s global network of marketing and advertising partners.

Early Process Interactive Design concept
An early concept leaned into the multi-colored benefit icons on pack, five per SKU. This interactive website imagined a flowing stream of icons that revealed photography and product details. Storyboard direction by me; animation by Dream Machine Creative.
